
Sirio Pharma, a nutraceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), launched a new range of ready-to-market, organic gummies and softgels. Named PureOrganix™, the company’s new concepts include three gummies and one softgel, each of which utilizes top-trending ingredients and is formulated to meet stringent EU-Organic certification criteria.
Research shows demand for organic formulations growing rapidly, with the global herbal extracts market expected to exceed $8 billion in 2030, up from just $5 billion in 2020. Aligning with this surge, Sirio’s PureOrganixTM range can help brands quickly bring to market fully tested, optimized formulations incorporating trending ingredient combinations.
The PureOrganixTM series targets three health areas: a women’s health gummy and softgel with evening primrose oil, for support during PMS and menopause; a metabolic health gummy with apple cider vinegar; and a heart health gummy with flaxseed oil that contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels[1]. Following are details for each:
- Sirio's organic evening primrose oil (EPO) gummy targets PMS and menopause symptoms. The pectin-based product delivers 250mg of EPO (GLA 10%) with a mixed berry flavor. Additionally, the PureOrganix™ softgel contains 500mg of EPO, supplemented by an extra 45mg of gamma linoleic acid (GLA). Notably. the softgels are produced in Sirio’s GMP facility in Germany, which has held organic certification since 2010.
- Sirio’s ready-to-market organic metabolic health gummy includes 500mg of apple cider vinegar, an ingredient well known for metabolic health benefits and weight loss support. Addressing metabolism concerns and weight management has been a significant growth area for nutraceuticals, particularly those with natural actives.
- The final concept, the PureOrganixTM flaxseed oil gummy, features 120mg of flaxseed oil, which is rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a nutrient that has an approved European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) claim for helping maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Made with pectin, the lemon-flavored gummy offers a tasteful and convenient way to support cardiovascular health.
Sirio’s latest products come in addition to its recent Women’s Health Platform launch, which was featured at Vitafoods Europe. The range includes 20 ready-to-formulate concepts personalized to suit women’s individual health concerns spanning all life stages, from pre-puberty to post-menopause, with various options for holistic health.
