ARBOCEL®, powdered cellulose, is a chemically inert excipient and thus is not metabolized by the human body. It is often used in formulations as an alternative to lactose. ARBOCEL® has binding properties and a natural fiber structure that leads to stable tablets with low friability. ARBOCEL® P290 is a fine grade with increased density and improved flow. It works well in wet granulation and direct compression applications.
