
JRS Pharma announced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Starting in the fall of 2022, with operations commencing in early 2024, the expansion will add capacity to manufacture microcrystalline cellulose products.
The project will also include a new production line for various MCC products. It will add a number of new high-value jobs with positions in operations, maintenance, warehouse, and quality.
JRS Pharma manufactures excipients, including binders, disintegrants, lubricants, functional fillers, thickeners, gelling agents, stabilizers, carriers, and coatings.The company also offers technical and formulation support.
