Noramco, a leading global manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), with expertise in controlled substances, has successfully finalized the acquisition of the Cambrex Drug Product Business Unit, formerly known as Halo Pharmaceuticals. This acquisition expands Noramco's offerings for API customers, including those of its subsidiary, Purisys. New service options encompass drug product formulation development, as well as clinical and commercial drug product manufacturing and packaging, all available from facilities located in Mirabel, Québec, and Whippany, New Jersey. As part of this acquisition, Noramco is re-embracing the Halo Pharmaceutical brand.
