Specialty chemicals supplier Azelis has acquired Barcelona-based Solchem Nature, reinforcing its presence in the Spanish nutraceuticals market.
The acquisition will give customers in Europe access to a wide portfolio of innovative and sustainable nutraceutical solutions. Solchem’s reach of over 250 customers in the nutraceutical market will enable broader distribution of Belgium-based Azelis’ products.
Solchem was founded in 1994 to distribute raw materials for the dietary sector. The company later expanded its portfolio to include a wide range of premium ingredients and formulations for the nutraceutical market.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
