Ingredients and pharma excipients provider Roquette has completed of its acquisition of IFF Pharma Solutions.
The deal, first announced in March 2024, aims to boost Roquette’s pharma offerings. IFF Pharma, headquartered in New York, produces excipients for oral dosage solutions. The company has a client base of major pharmaceutical, food and nutraceutical companies around the world.
The acquisition expands France-based Roquette’s U.S. footprint and adds to the company’s formulation capabilities and drug delivery research and development.
Roquette bought Qualicaps, the third largest producer of hard capsules for oral dosage solutions, in 2023. Qualicaps had sites in sites in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
