EcoVadis has given Sanner its Gold rating for sustainability performance, which places the manufacturer in the top 5% of more than 150,000 companies worldwide.
Sanner, a global manufacturer of health care packaging solutions and a medtech CDMO, began participating in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment two years ago and achieved the Bronze rating at the beginning of this year. The upgrade of two levels to Gold status indicates that Sanner is outstanding in environmental impact, sustainable procurement, labor practices, human rights, and ethics.
The EcoVadis assessment is a paid process that use to determine their sustainability impact. They provide documented evidence along with a questionnaire that is then evaluated by an expert. Sustainability analysts at EcoVadis also use publicly-available sources to collect sustainability-related news about the company before providing a scorecard and ranking.
