Walmart has launched a digital health hub called Better Care Services to make health care easier and more affordable for customers by providing them with greater control and transparency.
The hub connects customers to a network of providers for urgent care and behavioral health along with access to LillyDirect, Eli Lilly's a telehealth platform and online pharmacy. Walmart customers can book same-day consultations and then use Walmart’s pickup or delivery services to receive their prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
In conjunction with the launch of the health hub, Walmart is reducing prices of more than 1,000 wellness items, including foods, supplements, over-the-counter medications, and fitness products. The retailer also says it will be expanding its in-store offerings with new health products.
