RevMed Pancreatic Cancer Pill Shows “Unprecedented” Survival in Phase 3 Trial

Revolution Medicines has released results from its phase 3 study, showing that daraxonrasib beat expectation in treating patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Daraxonrasib is a once-daily oral drug developed for patients with metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). The RASolute 302 clinical trial included participants with a wide range of RAS variants, all of whom had received prior treatment. The drug led to statistically-significant improvements in progression-free survival (PFS) compared to standard of care cytotoxic chemotherapy. It also led to a mean overall survival of 13.2 months, compared to a mean of 6.7 months with chemotherapy.

The company will be submitting the data to the FDA in a future New Drug Application through the Commissioner’s National Priority Voucher. It will also be submitting these data to other regulatory authorities worldwide.
