Natoli Engineering Company, a St. Charles, Missouri-based maker of tablet compression tooling, presses and replacement parts, has acquired Scheu & Kniss, a Louisville, Kentucky-based supplier of tablet press replacement parts, turret manufacturing, and machine rebuilding services.
Scheu & Kniss, founded in 1915, has supplied replacement parts and technical support to pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, confectionery, and industrial tablet manufacturers for more than a century. Natoli, founded in 1973, said the acquisition adds manufacturing capacity and technical expertise to its existing product and service lines.
The companies said there will be no interruption to manufacturing, order fulfillment, or customer service as the businesses combine operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
