Michael is President of Particle Coating Technology Solutions (PCTS Inc.), which he founded in 2003 with the vision to advance the use of film-coating technology by expanding the fundamental understanding and development of scientific tools.

He and Dr. Axel Meisen were the first to devise a stochastic approach to modeling particulate coating processes. Michael has since dedicated his subsequent efforts to this field that resulted in scientific breakthroughs, publications, and a patent.

Michael’s pharmaceutical leadership roles include Chair of Coating Initiatives, Head of Technical Operations, General Manager, Head of Supply Chain, and Head of Manufacturing (Merck & Co., Teva, Janssen, Hercon, and Kaleido Biosciences, respectively). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
